My super simple question is this: I'd really like to have an 'EMAIL' or envelope as one of the social icons on the Paramount theme. This seems to be the first time I haven't been able to use it.<br />
<br />
ALLEVIATE THEME UPDATE: The menu now works thanks to a theme version update. Any suggestions on how I can get my money back on the Alleviate theme? I've embarrassed myself in front of a client after realizing the menu on the theme doesn't appear at all... (standard browser mode and mobile mode) using the latest RW on a MBPRetina running on 10.8.2 I've been waiting for a month for a fix... Is this really 'what I get' for branching out to a new developer??<br />

      <description><![CDATA[I'm still feeling my way around RapidWeaver.<br />
<br />
I don't have approval yet to test publish my tests of RapidWeaver. Is the Preview tool at the bottom of the RW editor the only way to preview a work in progress? I'd really like to see how Safari and FireFox handle what I've done. Is that possible without "publishing"?<br />
<br />
The built-in preview function, while good, doesn't show how the page will handle in a browser.<br />
<br />
I went into View Source, copied what was there, pasted it into Text Wrangler and saved as a HTML file. That displayed just the text, none of the margins and other visual elements which presumably come from the "Theme" I'm using.<br />
<br />
Appreciated.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[The problem I'm having may be specific to my webhost: GoDaddy (I know... I know... lots of people have issues with GoDaddy! LOL!). It manifests itself when a non-existent URL is requested that has additional levels in the directory structure... like: www.domain.com/nonexistent/subdirectory/index.html. My custom 404 page loads (www.domain.com/notfound.html)... but all of the navigation links won't work, because they are referencing a path that is affected by the "/nonexistent/subdirectory/" pathing in the originally-requested URL.<br />
<br />
Is there something that I can do to resolve this? I was thinking that I could edit the theme.plist file and add "%base_url%" to the code generating the navigation links... but changes to the "File Links Are:" option under "Setup/Advanced" don't seem to affect the pathing of the RW-generated nav links.<br />
<br />
Any thoughts/ideas?<br />
<br />
Thanks!]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<br />
Hello all!<br />
<br />
Brian here. I had tried Rapidweaver back in the Version 2 and 3 days, and couldn't get a grasp on it. But, yesterday, I spent an entire day with it, and I can see how "rapid" it can be. Very nice.<br />
<br />
Now, I'm working on putting a new website up, and I am looking to have a store page where people will be able to download the music I write directly from me. I had heard a lot of good things about Stripe, and was wondering if anyone had put this e-commerce solution inside of a Rapidweaver website yet.<br />
<br />
Now, I have been coding my sites by hand before using Rapidweaver, and I'm sure I could just do this, but trying to learn how it would be added inside of Rapidweaver, and of course just trying it out would be the fastest way to do it, but I like to have a point of reference before I do things. So I can make sure I don't miss anything.<br />
<br />
It's probably as easy as creating an HTML page in RW, and pasting the appropriate code in, isn't it. I'll try this when I get home today, but just wanted to know from the RW community if anyone has attempted this, what they found, plusses vs. minuses of doing this vs. that. Thats all.<br />
<br />
And, if you're interested in my music, let me know that too! (shameless plug)<br />
<br />
Thanks, and I look forward to learning more from you all! I'll contribute what I learn too!<br />
<br />
Sincerely,<br />
Brian.<br />

Are these included?<br />

I've watched and re-watched the Formsnap video over on YabDab but I just can't make it out. The Formloom video does include coverage of which input types are supported.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[Hi!<br />
I'm currently making a biographical website of a composer who died 60 years ago. I have a written list of all his compositions and would like to make that list available on the website. It would be great if I could put them all in some sort of database (or even just an Excel sheet, I think it could be that simple maybe) and generate the pages of every composition automatically, based on the data from that database. Is this possible? And if so, is it possible to let the visitor of the website filter the data, so they can for example only check out the music for orchestra, or only for piano.<br />

One area that I seem to be struggling with is to produce pages that have really clean and clear fonts. I am using both the LetterPress stack from JW and the Blue Ball GFontStylr stacks.<br />
<br />
No matter how I play around with the settings on each I don't seem to be able to produce the crispness and readability evident in, for example, JW's RW page. Take JW's "We have what you are looking for" text on his RW page. I cannot seem to replicate that clarity and crispness.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[I'm attempting to finally warehouse my images to free up some room to grow my website. I decided to use Flickr, as they've been around a while and I'm familiar with their site. My problem is that I don't know code... at all. I'm self-taught at this web design thing and I'm learning as I go.<br />
<br />
I'm using these images to create my product pages and I'm trying to redesign my site to look more like some other sites I've used. I want to be able to do one of two things when clicking on an image on my site.<br />
<br />
1. I want to link the image to another page in my site<br />
2. I want nothing to happen when clicking on other images on my site.<br />
<br />
Right now when I click on the image it takes me to the photo on Flickr. I NEVER want that to happen. I'm hoping someone can tell me in laymen's terms how to make the two things I mentioned above happen in place of taking my customers off-site to Flickr. Or alternately, if someone knows of a stack which will do this for me in place of me having to deal with code? All I seem to find are gallery based add-ons and none of them seem to do what I want.<br />
<br />
I'm pasting a copy of the code Flickr is generating for me:<br />
<br />
&lt;a href="<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/95786663@N07/8745786446/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.flickr.com/photos/95786663@N07/8745786446/</a>" title="Icon Tank Top Main by encinitas_surfboards, on Flickr"&gt;&lt;img src="<a href="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7300/8745786446_446517cbf5_m.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7300/8745786446_446517cbf5_m.jpg</a>" width="240" height="240" alt="Icon Tank Top Main"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;<br />
<br />
I would appreciate any help you can give me, as I am getting in over my head, but I really want to continue growing my site! As it is, I have maxed out my space and Rapidweaver is currently hating me!<br />

      <description><![CDATA[I made a duplicate of a SeyDesigns CRE4MY, then customized that duplicate and built my website with it. (For the sake of clarity, we'll call that customized duplicate: "CRE4MY-Custom 1".)<br />
<br />
I'd now like to duplicate "CRE4MY-Custom 1", making what we'll call "CRE4MY-Custom 2".<br />
<br />
I'd then like to tweak "CRE4MY-Custom 2" a little bit (different text content, different banner photos) to make a website for a colleague. (So basically, it'll look exactly the same as "CRE4MY-Custom 1", except for the banner photos and some of the text.)<br />
<br />
I know I can use the <i>Page-Specific Theme</i> menu within "CRE4MY-Custom 2" to bring in the look of "CRE4MY-Custom 1", but unfortunately, <b>this also brings in the banner photos of "CRE4MY-Custom 1".</b><br />
<br />
<i>Is there a way to have "CRE4MY-Custom 2" import the look of "CRE4MY-Custom 1"—yet allow me to tweak "CRE4MY-Custom 2" independently (primarily the banner photos), without affecting "CRE4MY Custom 1"?</i>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Hi all<br />
<br />
I have been struggling with making my site scroll horizontally for a while so when I saw the<a href="http://www.themeflood.com/photogenic/" rel="nofollow">Photogenic</a> theme from trusty <a rel="nofollow" href="/profile/Will">@Will</a> Woodgate I bought it.<br />
<br />
The result it here: <a href="http://www.studioshillito.co.uk/test/index.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.studioshillito.co.uk/test/index.html</a><br />
<br />
What I would like to do now however, is link the next and previous buttons and the hyperlinks in the "how it works" section to the JS that controls the lovely scrolling (click on one of the nav items to see it in action!) I'm sure this isn't too difficult but I have already proved fairly hopeless when it comes to fully understanding JS.<br />
<br />
I'm guessing that the buttons will probably need their own bit of code that tells them to travel through the sections of the site...!?!<br />
<br />
Any help would be greatly appreciated!<br />
<br />
Cheers<br />

      <description><![CDATA[Hello:<br />
<br />
I have been using rapidweaver to design websites for about a year now.I use the latest version of stacks as my main plug in design tool because I am not a real web designer or developer. Currently I am working on a large website that is 49.5 MB and 35 pages total.<br />
<br />
Recently rapidweaver has been refusing to save the new edits. I am current on all updates. and appear to have plenty of space on my computer hard drive. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is my site to big for rapidweaver? I have already designed 2 other sites with no problems so i am not sure why this happening but again I am not the most knowledgable on this.<br />
<br />
Also I have another website that i update frequently stored in rapidweaver- do I need to pull this site off to have enough space?<br />
<br />
Again any suggestions or help is appreciated.<br />
<br />
Sincerely,<br />

      <description><![CDATA[I have a website that seems to be working great except for one small issue. I added a stacks page with PowerGrid CSV that is importing a google spreadsheet, all is working great with it.<br />
<br />
When I was still building the page I had a few different "experimental" pages going, pages I could upload to the server so I could see how they look. (you can't preview PG CSV with a google table, it needed to be uploaded to see what you've got). Anyway one of the pages I was using I named "test ratings" and I have since deleted the page through RW, or at least I thought I did.<br />
<br />
Now when I view my site the first page that loads is www.hopvectorsbeerclub.com In that page the "test ratings" page is still active in the menu tab, and I can actually navigate to that page. If I click any other tab in the menu, then return to the "home" tab the website url becomes www.hopvectorsbeerclub.com/home.html and on that page the correct "Beer Ratings" tab is displayed.<br />
<br />
I have no idea how to remove the old "test ratings" page from the site. Furthermore I have no idea what the difference is between the .com page and the .com/home.html. Can anyone help me get this straightened out please, I am sure it must be something stupid I am overlooking but I can figure this out.<br />
<br />
I attached a few images to help explain. Thanks in advance for the help, this place is a life saver!]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Being relatively new to web design (designed for print for 35 years) I haven't yet attempted to integrate any kind of CMS for any of my clients. I have looked at the various options available including PageLime, Pulse, and Armadillo but without trying them all out I am at a loss as to which would be the most appropriate for my needs.<br />
<br />
I am putting together a new site for an antique dealer who would like to be able to edit pictures and captions (descriptions of each item) inside a set of galleries. The galleries will consist of scrollable walls of images each of which would be clickable and appeart in a lightbox.<br />
<br />
The images and text/captions need to be edited (removed, added to, changed etc) by group of people located in different parts of the country.<br />
<br />
Does anyone of you have any experience of using CMS in such a situation and please could you recommend which CMS would be suitable?<br />
<br />
Thanks you for taking the time to read.<br />
From a happy but not so rapid Rapidweaver.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[Hey All,<br />
I've been successfully using Joe's Pagelime stack, although there are parts of a site that I'd like editable that are just plain text, can't add a stack like a header of an image stack.<br />
<br />
I know there are CMS codes and Div's that can be entered so that those areas become editable. Any suggestions as to how I can implement this?<br />
<br />
For Example. FAQ Stack by Kuler Solutions.<br />
I can add a pagelime stack so the answers are editable, but the questions just allow me to enter them in text. Would like to make those questions editable.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[Hi,<br />
<br />
I would need a solution that allows me to make a fill in form which is either only accessible with a unique code or can be send with the use of a unique code.<br />
<br />
I will have a list of 75.000 unique codes (10character combination of letters and numbers) in an excell file, so I can make a comma generated file of it. These codes will be given through a magazine to 75.000 people.<br />
<br />
With this code they should have access (ONLY ONCE per code!) to the fill in form / or with this code they should be able to (also ONLY ONCE) send the fill in form. The fill in form is created for a big competetion for winning tickets.<br />
<br />
For winning tickets people must have at least one code per entry (so they have to buy a magazine to get one code) and they must fill in all their details (name, email, address) and they must have the ability to upload a (jpg) file as well.<br />
<br />
I have looked already on the website but didn't find it yet how to integrate this in my RapidWeaver site.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[Greetings and thanks for checking this out. Here is my issue:<br />
<br />
I have been finalizing a website for my new company over the past few weeks. I'm more of an entrepreneur than a web designer... Last week, the site began to render improperly in Safari on my MacBrook Pro and iMac, yet continued to work fine in Safari on iPad and iPhone as well as Firefox. The weirdest part of it to me, which may shed light on the situation, is that the site loads properly on the first attempt in Safari then goes wrong. Meaning, if you go to home page, it will appear correct the first time. Then, if you click the nav bar to redirect to home from another page, it will be appear wrong. Upon numerous attempts to refresh the page, it may go back to being correct 1 out of 25 times. The same issue repeats throughout the site.<br />
