2 New Table Stacks

Hi!

There are many table stacks out there and I decided to create my own versions with some unique features and many options, while keeping the interface as small as possible...

I have just released 2 new stacks: Massive Table Stack and Massive Table II Stack.

Detailed descriptions and demos are available at RWExtras.com

Massive Table Stack
- Up to 12x12 cells
- Fixed or Flexible layout, collapsed or separate borders, custom border settings, vertical text alignment, different top row background color, etc.
- Simple approach to adding rows and columns: only 4 checkboxes to add 1, 2, 3, or 4 rows/columns (8 checkboxes in total). Combine them to add from 1 to 10 rows/columns
- Add as many different tables on a page as you need

Example: fixed layout, separate borders

Example: flexible layout, collapsed borders, header background color

Massive Table II Stack
- Up to 12x12 cells plus a header row
- jQuery-based to activate or deactivate 2 effects: alternate row colors and color change when hovering over a row. Colors are customizable
- Fixed or Flexible layout, collapsed or separate borders, custom border settings, vertical text alignment, different top row background color, etc.
- Simple approach to controlling the number of rows and columns with only 2 input boxes. Examples: to hide row12 simply enter '.row12', to hide rows 11 and 12, enter '.row11, .row12'. Exact same approach to columns by simply replacing 'row' with 'col'. Very simple!
- One Massive Table II Stack per page that can be combined with as many "regular" Massive Table Stacks as needed

These stacks are priced at only US$5.00 each or US$7.50 for the set of 2. If you signed up on my website, you'll get an email with your 20% discount codes.

I hope you find these stacks useful additions to your RW toolbox.

Thanks!
Mauricio

    Great work on these Mauricio!

My head doesn't contain enough information to fill a 12 x 12 table but it's nice to know I could do it if I wanted! ;-)

As always, your stacks make my page layout simpler.

@Mauricio, this looks really slick! Now I am hoping for a comparison between all available table stacks to clarify the differences. Marten?

It's kind of funny I think... looooong time ago - before stacks... I and many others cried out loud - for tables! RapidWeaver made an attempt building tables into the application. But... a resonable solution never saw light of day. Many advanced users tried to... state - that tables didn't go along with css.

And here we are - with so many nice solutions (like this one) to a simple old fashioned feature - tables :-) Thanx very much.

I'm a little late to the party, but this stack is AWESOME. Just awesome.

One feature request: it would be great if you could insert a row between existing rows.

You can drag in new stacks, but they become part of the row they're under. Not sure it's technically possible, but would be a great feature for those of us who realize we need an additional row. Currently you have to add a row at the bottom and drag every stack down manually.

Thanks for a great stack, Mauricio!

    I'm glad you like it!

Unfortunately, there's no way to add new rows between existing rows, sorry...
