Hi everyone,

I just updated the prettyPhoto Stack to the latest and greatest version so far: prettyPhoto 3.0.

In this new version, you can play slideshows inside the lightbox, include navigation thumbnails, and have more control over the styling of your lightbox by selecting the font size and color of the description and navigation text.

In addition, prettyPhoto now supports Vimeo's new universal player to play Vimeo files on your iPhone and iPad.

Of course, it's a free update and buyers should be getting new download links as we speak...

You can check some demos on my website as well as the new user interface.

I hope you enjoy this exciting new version!

Cheers,
Mauricio

    Bravo!

Thanks Mauricio. Once again you've raised the bar with your stacks. I especially appreciate the excellent demos, documentation and tutorial projects you provide.

    Great work!

    Hi,

I have a site that uses prettyPhoto 2 on a page that also has a BannerZest item on there too ....

In a test environment (not live), prettyPhoto 3 and BannerZest are clashing. I cannot upload this as it will lose functionality on a live site, although if you do require a URL I can upload to another area on the server.

On prettyPhoto 3 the box modal box appears but small but the content does not appear and expand

    Hi Ray,

Did the page work with the previous version of prettyPhoto?

Yes, if you can upload it somewhere on your site, I'll take a look. Otherwise, I'll offer to look at the actual RW project on my Mac and see what I can figure out...

Thanks Mauricio. Just for clarification, the was a 'prettyPhoto Extensions' stack that shipped with the early versions. Is this now obsolete?

Yes, I pulled out the Extensions stack soon after I released it because it was not working properly with Internet Explorer.

After that, I released a version that incorporated Flowplayer to handle videos in mp4, m4v, and flv format (in part, that was the intended purpose of the Extensions stack...)

Please get rid of the pP Extensions stack...

    Cheers,

I did but can't figure out what's happening. I get a bunch of javascript errors but not from the prettyPhoto code therefore there are definitely conflicts.

Can you send me the RW project page? I have Vanilla therefore should be able to work with it...

    Hi,

I can confirm that they co-habited OK before under PP2, and if I remove the BZ code PP3 works fine.

    Hi Ray,

OK, thanks. The only major new thing in pP is the slideshow option therefore, the conflict might be coming from there...

I'll let you know if I find out anything.

    Cheers,
    Mauricio
