External links

Hi:

Sorry if this is an easy question but I am new to rapidweaver. I am having an issue with external links. For example:

If my page is www.mypage.com, when clicking a external link to a specific URL it gets directed to www.mypage.com/www.externallink.com

Obviously I want the link to go directly to www.externallink.com.

Any help would be appreciated. I am using Rapidweaver 5.

The apparent solution is to be sure you include the http:// stuff with your external address.
I had the same problem. I would just put "www.mynewsite.com" and what would show up
would be www.myoldsite.com/www.mynewsite.com

Make sure you add the address as http://www.mynewsite.com
and it should work. Did for me.
