i attempted to post this earlier and the post never showed...if it does and this is a duplicate, i am sorry...my site has been done with seydoggy's catalog theme...on this page, www.paulabest.com/gallery the header pic has the tabs in the top part of this header…this happens on many pages….some pages i took the header off as i did not like the way it was looking….but that is not a fix…just solved a short term problem….and now, on this page,
http://www.paulabest.com/uncommonbeads/ i took the header off due to the above problem….i put the sub tabs up and they were, yesterday, under the tabs…now the sub tabs are on top of the tabs….i am not sure why this happens, it is fine for a while but then things seem to change without my, knowingly, doing....any help would be greatly appreciated!! teresa.

The blue box and red box are supposed to exist side by side. But obviously they can't because combined, they are bigger the the space will allow. Reorganize your site architecture to reduce your top level tabs to be maybe 5 to 7 pages. Your visitor will that you for simplifying.
thank you, so much, for looking into this....i sized the banner using rwmultitool....i did not do anything but drag the photo into the position i liked....all has worked fine for around 2 years...until about a month ago it started doing this....and the top where you highlighted in blue, paula best, that is the title and i thought the only control i had over that was in selecting the font size, which it is at its largest....i can reduce the number of tabs, i will combine some of them, i agree, it would be much better.....if this is still a need to reorganize my site architecture, can you please explain how i do that? thanks, again, for helping me....teresa.
so sorry...after looking into your response again, i see in the pic that you were showing the tabs, not the header pic as being too much... i will reduce the tabs and check that in the morning....please excuse my ignorance in viewing your pic....i will give this tab reduction a shot....thanks, again....teresa.
thank you, so much, i reduced the tabs and all is well.....teresa
