Eikona Two - "3:2 format" Images Resizing

Hi everybody.

I'm working with Eikona Two theme to show my photographs portfolio. I need to resize all my photos, but the manual requests to prepare images 1280 x 960 or 1024 x 768. Doing this, photographs become grainy and this is probably due to the fact that my photos have a 3:2 format, while the recommended ones are 4:3

Then, I resized my photographs keeping the 3:2 ratio (1280 x 853 or 1024 x 683 - this last one is also the format of my photos on flickr.com) but I noticed that part of the photo is cropped by the theme.

Then, my question is: how can I include my photos keeping the 3:2 ratio and without crop? Is there the possibility to "force" the theme accepting a 3:2 format?

I've been told that my request is impossible with Eikona Two. I need to resize my photographs from 3:2 to 4:3 with pixelmator or photoshop. Maybe someone could be interested, and I thought it was useful reply to myself...
