Joe Workman Vimeo Wall issues

Howdy... I recently purchased Joe Workman Vimeo Wall stack. Looks like a great product, however I'm having some issues getting it to work.

I have created 2 test pages on my MOTIVATE themed website. When I ONLY put a vimeo wall stack on it, the page wants to save as a .php. On another page with a text stack already in place, the page saves as a .html

On the php page, I get an error. On the html page, nothing shows up at all.

Here are the .php and .html pages:

Questions:

1) Why on earth can't I get this to work?
2) Does this HAVE to be a php page? I want to add this to existing .html pages
3) Under 'username' do you need the sign-in email? or the User ID#?

For starters, you have to have PHP as the extension. So make sure that happens.

Next, you need to make sure that you have PHP 5.2+ on your server. I am pretty sure that you are running an older version os PHP on your web server. If you don't know, you can use my free Server Info stack to check. Just deploy the stack to your server and it will tell you more than you will ever want to know about your server!

OK. Upgraded to 5.2. I also put the info stack on the page. Was there someone in your tutorials or documentation where I should have seen this? If so, I apologize...

Now, I'm getting a different error:

Questions:

1) Under 'username' do you need the sign-in email? or the User ID#? (from last email)
2) Is it ok to just rename previous html pages to php? I won't hurt anything?

I'm having similar struggles with Vimeo Wall in the PHelix theme. Sure hope someone has some ideas to resolve this. The user ID is not the answer!

1. You need to use your user ID# from your URL.
1a. If you are using a Channel to get the videos from, use the number on the URL of the channel, NOT the channel name.
2. You can rename the page to .php, but Rapidweaver will NOT delete the .html file and you will have to FTP into your server and delete the .html file.

Happy to say that thanks to your great help, Robb, I have it working properly now. Thanks to Nimblehost and Joe Workman for help. I changed to my user ID (a string of numbers) instead of my user name, and changed to the Channel ID instead of the name of the channel. What a relief!

By the way - Joe: That is one fantastic stack! I was doing a website for an actress who wanted to list all of her film clips separately and it was a perfect, elegant, simple solution. (And the bonus is that she can add clips herself whenever she wants just by putting them on vimeo).
