Hi,
I have done three website for this client. he is a nice guy, but he has put a lot of input into the websites so a lot of the set up (colors, layout, etc.) is from him and saying the old (I want it to look like this "website", and shows me a website online). So my creative ideas were a bit held down.

The use of a Times type face becomes an issue in two ways , the first is in that , by it's nature has a thick and thin stroke , which can be carried in a large size however the thin part of the stroke breaks up when it gets smaller, hence it looses some of its clarity. Have a play with a sans serif font.
Even ariel in style. This would help the first issue and solve the second. Black , orange and compacted letter styles create a contempory feel, and looks great, the Times brings this into a contradiction. The body text is a great way of creating a backbone of this style. Hope it helps.
I like the look too.. my only issue... it may look a little too "sales" like.. for a martial art school....
which some schools like.. but some (old school teachers) do not....
