RW publish overwriting Pagelime Stack content

edited April 2012 in Stacks Chat
I've set up a site with several stacks using Joe Workman's Pagelime Stack. I can login to Pagelime and make edits just fine. But when I make edits in RW to the same page (to a section of the page NOT enabled with the Pagelime Stack), the published page overwrites any changes done in Pagelime. I've double-checked the settings in Pagelime (cms-editable, FTP-XML) and they are fine. My Pagelime-enabled pages do have the necessary .php extension and the server does handle PHP4. All looks good. I must be missing something though. A sample page is:

http://www.robbstuckyintl.com/aboutus/aboutus.php

The body copy is Pagelime-enabled. I'm using: RW 4.2, Pagelime Stack 1.0.1, Stacks orig.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

    Thanks, Zeebe. I did that this week on Tuesday I think it was. I hope that Joe will be able to help me with it. Seems like more and more clients want CMS. Pagelime and Pagelime Stacks look pretty promising.

    Fingers crossed,

    @Patrick:

    I'm still trying to work through the issue with Joe. He's providing excellent technical support and he really goes the extra mile. So far, it's unresolved, but we're still working on it.

    Have you by any chance had the same issue?

    Thanks.

    Thanks Phillip. I have the Pagelime stacks, but so far I've only experimented a little with them to make sure I knew how to implement them. I have a project coming up this summer for which I need to decide whether Pagelime is the best solution. The problem you're having caught my attention. It sounds frustrating and I hope you get it solved soon. I know from experience that Joe will do whatever he can to help.

    Any solution on this Phillip? I am currently working with Joe on this same issue.

    @rmeaux:

    Not resolved yet. I've begun looking at some other alternatives, but I'm really holding out for a solution to this Pagelime stack issue. It is so easy to use and the Pagelime interface is great - very client-friendly. Now if I can just get over this last hurdle, things will be great. I'm still in contact with Joe about it.

    I'll post here if/when things get resolved.

    Thanks.

    Issue resolved! Thanks to Joe Workman who is now my super hero! Move over Avengers. Seriously, an update to the Pagelime Stack combined with Joe's excellent tech support saved the day. The Pagelime Stacks and the Pagelime easy-to-use client interface ROCK!
