I've got a couple of the table stacks, and they are helpful at some things, but I just stumbled upon a simple way to make tables. Probably others discovered this a long time ago, but it is great.
Make whatever you want in Excel, color it, shade it, whatever.
Then save as web page. I had never seen that option.
upload to your server and pull it into an Iframe, adjust your scrolling and sizes, etc.
