My site looks terrible in Chrome, but fine in Firefox and Preview--help?

If someone could give me assistance on this, I'd be really grateful. The site I'm designing looks fine in my preview mode, and even when I preview on Chrome. It looks fine in Firefox. But on Chrome it looks bizarre--half of the middle of it is sucked up into the header area.

I'm not sure what to do--any suggestions?
