Horizontal Scroll Theme

Hello RW friends,

I was having a look at the following website:

http://www.goldhatphotography.com/recent

I am wondering if I can make a similar page in Rapidweaver. I see that the navigation menu can be a floating element (is there a stack or setting for that?), but then I would like to know how to put in the photo's.

Any suggestion is more than welcome. Thanks in advance!

Jochem

One of the first sites I ever did - was a horizontal scroll site. Was back in the happy CyberStudio days - so it must have been over 10 years ago! I did it because it was different than anything else at the time. A year later I redid it... most of the users found it annoying.

That said - you can build your own with Blueballs great freestack theme. It has a variable (fluid) width. Any themes that has a fluid (variable) width might fit your purpose.

I redid a site couple of years ago for a client. Horizontal layout. They came to same conclusion as I did years ago. Horizontal layout doesn't work very well with almost everything - the screen, the mouse... what people expect. Kind of... doesn't fit anything. But it's different!

    Just my opinion... :-)
