Hi fellow Rapid Weaver users!
My, it's been a while! Ive just uploaded a new webpage today that I have designed this morning and could do with some feedback before I continue with the other pages for this site. This is my third ever website that I have designed. Please take a look and let me know what you think! Any criticism would be great! Thanks to all the Stacks developers for making this possible! You guys are Genius! FREE-STACKS is brilliant!

Link to the site is as follows: http://www.mcr-digital.com/

Anyway, Thanks for reading, looking forward to reading some response!

Keep Weaving!

The site has a very nice aesthetic to it, but at the big and small end of the spectrum it's a little iffy for my taste. With a full size browser window on my 27" monitor, the slideshow it gigantic. It looks like you are using FlexShow, which I haven't used before, but is there a maximum width setting for it? That might make it a little less like sitting in the front row to watch a Michael Bay movie. While that's largely a matter of taste, on my iPhone, the site is pretty much unnavigable. I'm unable to get it to size down like a normal site does for iOS, and can't scroll to see it all, even large. I haven't tried it on an iPad, but would assume that it is going to be at least partially showing the same issues. I doubt that mobil is a huge part of your traffic, but I'd far rather have something that isn't necessarily optimized for mobil, but at least useable. Perhaps there are some settings or CSS that will fix it. If not, I guess it would require a mobile redirect to a separate address. You might want to run this past the smart people on the Freestack Google group for advice on how to best fine tune.

I know what you mean @Colorwave Imaging, I knocked this design up in less than 3 hours on Sunday morning for a close friend and have yet to configure my viewport settings and @ media queries in the code. I will do that once the other pages are complete. I did say it was only one page and in the early stages of design! Hense the lack of navigation! Im glad you said Michael Bay movie! this is for a film editor in the movie industry!
Thanks for your response its much appreciated.

I have made a few tweaks to this new site i am working on. I have now tested this site on my iPad 3 and it works great when horizontal, but when flipped vertical my background image does not scale for some reason and ranges to the left. I created this page using the Blue-ball Free Stack which I do recommend to any user of Rapid Weaver!
I have also managed to use a few custom fonts with the help from font squirrel! Its a great service but I feel like your are working blind as you can't preview what you are working on in Rapid Weaver. Is there a way around this? because this is a great option for brilliant typefaces on your website! I prefer to use real fonts as opposed to images.

Still would appreciate some more feed back on this webpage!

Google web fonts and Blueball FontStylr both preview correctly in RW.

I do realise this @Colorwave Imaging, Please read my posts correctly! and look into things slightly more before shotgunning into a responce!
I was referring to Font Squirrel ! which is an online font service! Are you not aware of this site???
"Bebas Neue" my main headline font is not a google typeface! I am already using Google web fonts and Blueball FontStylr on this web page for other typefaces and I think these stacks are great! Although a bit lacking in decent Sans typefaces in my opinion. I was asking about font squirrel and Rapid weaver preview compatibility!!!

    Can anyone hit me up?!

    @Swipedigital
@Colorwave was actually offering constructive feedback for you, which was requested. Its your decision to heed it or not (or to switch font services or not) but your response was a tad condensending to say the least.
    Best regards,
    tsilva

Hey @tsilva yeah, perhaps I was slightly condesending and I apologise if I have offended @colorwave or anybody for that matter, just wanted an answer to my question regarding font squirrel!. If I was going to give constructive criticism to any one, I would at least check out the sites code or use weaver detect before quick firing an answer!

What do you think of this web page?

    Peace and love peeps!
