How to use Google Website Optimizer

I am having alot of difficulty installing Google Website Optimizer on my Rapidweaver sites.

According the instructions as per the picture. I have to copy and paste code right after the
tag on each of my pages on Rapidweaver.

I tried opening the 'source code' for each web page and manually installing it that way, but for whatever reason RapidWeaver refuses to let me save my edits on my source code.

I also tried going into the page inspector and tried copy and pasting it within the header portion. But it ended up placing my code right above the close of the
on the page, not before it.

And I also tried copying and pasting it at the very top of every page through the regular RapidWeaver editor, but that didn't work either.

What can I do to install code right below the beginning
tag for each of my separate pages?

    Do you mean
or
. They are two entirely different tags and
is html5 only. Your screen shot is too small to read but if the code is to go after the
, it must go in the body of the page not in the page inspector. Try pasting it at the top of the page, selecting it and choosing 'ignore formatting' from the Format menu. If you're using stacks, just paste it into an html stack.

It is going to be a bit difficult to ensure that it appears right after the
, I'm afraid.

    It's definitely the
tag. I just wasn't aware that
and
were two totally different HTML commands.
