I have been trying to upload my website that I made with Rapidweaver to the server, I use BlueHost. I'm having no luck at all. I keep getting fault codes like this, (Failed to create remote directory: "movies/files/jquery.min.js".)

Can anybody help, bluehost have tried to help me but think its something to do with Rapidweaver, I can't see this as nobody else seems to have trouble with Rapidweaver.

If anybody could help it would be great,

Many Thanks, Gareth.

    @bigjobs,
    Try deleting and re-entering (by hand) the FTP login details or your site in the 'Publish Settings' dialog box.

    Hey tsilva,

    Tried that and had no luck, the guys at bluehost say I need to use a different software to upload to the server, Really gets me down as it would be so conveinient using Rapidweaver. I dont know what to do.

    Thanks anyway.

    I never publish with Rapidweaver's internal FTP client.
    Instead, I use FileZilla. I suggest deleting the files in your export folder first, and delete the folders on your host server (keep the ones your host installed such as cgi.bin, .htaccess, robots.txt, the google analytics file if you have that, or any others you can recognize). Go to File>Export Site and wait until your folder is fully populated. Then manually upload the contents of your newly created export folder (contents only-not the actual folder), using FileZilla or another FTP client like Cyber Duck to the root of your site.
    Best regards,

    Does anyone recommend Bluehost for RW sites? I have a small-sized site.

    I use Bluehost exclusively and have never had a problem using the built-in FTP for Rapidweaver or using Cyberduck to manage/access my account. I would suggest re-entering all of your FTP information and ensuring that the path you're using is 100% correct.

    Yeah, I dont know what the problem was, however by selecting the upload whole project option it sorted it out. BlueHost is amazing, you cant beat the 24hr help they provide.

    I followed the advice for uploading my (RapidWeaver) site given on the DreamHost wiki. It works. Here's the link. I hope that helps.
