JW tumblr

Gotta say, I'm feeling particularly humble right about now, but I'm having difficulty getting the JW tumblr stack to import/display my client's blog. I've come to rely on the simplicity & beauty of JW stacks to make my programming worries go away. Unfortunately, that reliance sometimes makes it tough for me to understand the most basic things to get stuff to work. Hence, this posting.

I've set up 2 blog pages at the site above: a Freestack tumblr lite and a JW tumblr.
You can toggle the pages up right. I built a blocks page and import the simple stacks page into the page block. I know this doesn't work across the board, but it usually does, so I thought I'd try it here.

I'd love to use the JW tumblr as it's beautifully customizable, but alas. I've even tried linking to joeworkman.tumblr.com to no avail. The JW page always views as attached.

Ideas?
I'm sure it's something simple..thanks for your insight.

Maybe you didnt fill in the settings correctly- Tumblr domain: this is the website that visitors go to see the Tumblr account, such as, my website.tumblr.com.
Did you get that typed in correctly in the HUD.
Also, the blog only shows up after its published, and going to the website from a browser.
    Best regards,

    Hi

Assuming you have set all the password info that the stack requires you also need to make sure the page has the .php extension which your page does not seem to have.

    Hope this helps

Right, I'm dealing with the .php stuff at the moment.

Here's the info I got from JW:

I see your issue right away. Your page is an index.html page, which it can not be. It needs to be an index.php page. Now, this is easy to change in the Page Inspector, BUT, Rapidweaver will not delete the index.html page, and most servers will point to that page OVER the index.php page. You will need to use an FTP app and log into your server and manually delete the index.html page.
Hope this makes sense, any other questions, just ask.

Just changed the page to index.php and republishing all files now. Then will ftp & delete the .index file.

    We shall see. . .
    Thanks,

The FTP will not delete it automatically. You are simply adding a new php page. You should delete the HTML page first from the server.

We figured out that my host was running PHP 4.4.9 and needed to be running at least 5.2 in order for the stack to work. Contacted them, upgraded to 5.2, now it works! See, simple, yet kinda not.
Thanks for the info & advice!
