Hi-
I get a lot of questions while running
Javabean Hosting about how to backup and migrate MySQL databases. As a result, I have developed a simple and easy to use stack that I hope will help users with their databases.
What does it do?
It will download your MySQL database into a zip file. The sql file inside the zip file can be used to migrate or restore your database using PHPMyAdmin or other database tools.
How much does it cost?
Free!
Where do I get it?
Here
Anything else I should know?
Yes! This stack can only backup all tables in the database that the specified user has access to. You may have to run this multiple times for multiple databases. For instance, if you have Wordpress and a Forum on your site, you might have to run this once for the Wordpress database and once for your Forum. Please verify your backups.
More information can be found

(Also, as hinted previously: after my recent experience with Nexcess' hosting for a client's WordPress project, I'll be looking at Javabean next time
