  • Yes, I know, orange text.
  • Sorry about the folder names, I've been lazy
Can anyone guess what theme this is? Without using Weaverdetect or looking at the innards.

Thanks in advance.

I really like this site. the orange is perfect in my opinion. Lots of information which is easy to get to in a well laid out navigation, cool photography and gallery.

The site looks great in my opinion. I like the way the menu at the top is simple and consistant. I had a look at the gallery page and was impressed by the quality of the photos and the layout.

Thanks for the kind words, @shanemo, @metalgear. This is a very old theme which I think is no longer sold but is available for free now but I have to double check. The gallery page was done in RapidPicasa by Symfonip so it's very easy to maintain, add photos and change captions. Because Picasa is hosted by Google's CDN, it's very fast for the photos to load and I save on my hosting bandwidth.

The photos are good. They hired a proper photographer to take them so no stock photos (afaik) in here.

I like the website and the orange on black colors too..

But I would definitely add an accent color to the headings....(accommodations, location etc).

I think it would bring out the orange color better and wouldn't look "washed" out.....

White would be a good standby but other colors would work to your taste......

Good layout grid and like the full width slider - always a fan of those

Fantastic looking place! For me you aren't telling me what you actually want me to do on the site or what you would like me to look at.

Every site should have ONE goal and everything on the site should serve that goal. You need to ask yourself what that goal is and make sure everything either supports and leads to the goal or build confidence about reaching that goal. Sometimes this is referred to as a journey and like most journeys it has a definite end you need to direct people through to that end; that could be 'download our brochure', 'book a holiday', rent our apartment' or whatever. At the moment I am just clicking aimlessly and finding lots to look at but no call to action.

I think instead of the long, wide paragraph of text under the main image carousel (which because of the gorgeous images above I don't really take in) I would use Stacks to break the text block into 3 and put 3 text/image links to inside content you want me to look at eg. services, weddings, book.

There are essentially 2 main types of website; ones which people use for research and ones which people buy from. You need to make yours feel more like I need to buy something.

@PhilBob and calls to action would be a pair of lovely buttons?
Big round orange pancake looking buttons work best (tests have shown)
