Is there a specific theme or page that allows for the free placement of images, as opposed to left, center or right?

You can look into the FreeStack Theme. A blank canvas that uses the Stacks plugin.

For even more 'flexibility' you can look at adding to your stack library Lee's Absolute Stack.

I downloaded a demo of the Blocks plugin and it allows me to place images freely. I'm new to Rapidweaver . . . . so how do I find the Blocks plugin whenever I start a new page (it just appeared the first time after I installed it)?
