My first site in RW from a creative portrait photographer.

I recently launched my new RW site and ended my use with iWeb. I hired a graphic artist (Dan Gretta from Boston) to design my new logo, and I chose the Photographos theme from Archetypon. I'm still tweaking but overall I like the clean and simple feel, easy navigation, and my favorite reason the large photos in the gallery. I would appreciate any feedback and thank you in advance for your time.

I also am tweaking the Photographos theme. On every page with a slideshow the text "Album Title" is visible. I found out that this title is coded into the HTML code which I can't change. On your site (fantastic photographs) this text is removed. How did you modify this ?

    Greatings,

Not sure about the white background. Your image-effect gets a little bit lost in a white background. Black (are something dark) would push the image on top.

    Hi Nuel

Nice work with Photographos. The logo is stunning and gives the website a professional look, it was a good decision to hire the logo designer.

I would say that the images are just a little bit on the heavy side, if you could do something about it so pages could load easier and faster without sacrificing the qualities.

I often use this little app for compressing images with great results:

(I'm not affiliated to these guys, just a happy customer...)

There's also an important chapter at Photographos manual on optimizing images, I know nobody reads the manual (me included) but it could help in keeping more reasonable page-loading times.

    Cheers,

Great work! And beauty of a simple site that doesn't distract from you beautiful photo's. I also like your blog for showing how you work. So my advice: don't change!
