Custom "Stack Media" sets?

Hi I've already posted this to the YourHead forum but no joy.

I would like to have my own set of frequently used "media" (mainly tileable background images) to appear in the "Stack Media" dropdown along side the default blue patterns, green patterns and red patterns that ship with stacks 2. I have been able to add a new category within the stacks 2 package called "gray patterns" and edit the info.plist and resources file to get it working great BUT only if it remains in the the stacks 2 package alongside the others. The problem is that each time I upgrade stacks I loose this "custom" stack. If I put the newly created stack in in my Application Support/RapidWeaver/Stacks folder it doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

It would be nice if Stacks 2 had a dedicated folder or allowed the user to point to a folder that holds all your backgrounds. The same way Rapidweaver incorporates snippets.
