Hi all, recently, Rapidweaver searched for and found an Update, it then updated my Lap Top to version 5.3 (9208), a few days later i found that i had the older version (8502) in my Trash !

BUT, when i try to delete it from my Trash, it tells me the RW file is in use and cannot be deleted.
I also have the same issue with a Video file, perhaps if i solve the RW problem i might solve the Video file problem as well ??

Tim, if you go to your trash icon and right click than push cmd (you see it change) , click on "remove safely or something like that) , everything will be gone.

Ok, did you restart already or just put your mac in sleep mode every time?

Best to restart and then directly empty the trash.

Thanks Gille, that worked, you were spot on, i haven't rebooted for ages, i always leave it on stand-by !, it took ages to boot up though, almost worse than those dreaded Windose machines !!!. LOL.

    Thanks.

    ok cool.

Best go to spotlight(right corner loupe) and enter "disk utility" , then choose your hd and click "repair permissions". Then reboot with alt+cmd+p+r pushed down (keep them down) and let it make that reboot sound 3 times (keep pushing) , then release it. Everything will work fast again :)
