Bought this theme today because I really like the public networking icons that float over the banner. However does anybody no how to activate this, I have followed the instructions, i.e. copy and pasting the codes into the side bar and selecting the show in banner option but still nothing.
I would love to hear from somebody else that may have bought this theme and has got it working.
Cheers, Gaz.

By the way, I do have some questions for you. Maybe you can answer them Aaron. Is the banner's height adjustable? Is the 'BOREAL' text on the top a "Rapidweaver" logo? I ask this because that is exactly the place I want to place my logo. Thanks in advance!
1) Not quite, but I can give you code to adjust it.
2) It's the Site Title but you can drop your logo into it and it will replace the site title

Thanks!
I must warn you though, it kinda takes away from the responsive nature of the theme.
Use the following in Page Info > Header > CSS
img#featureImg {height: 80% !important;}Or instead fo a percentage value you can use a pixel value:img#featureImg {height: 400px !important; }Doing All The Coding So You Don't Have To.

It is a very nice theme for sure. $40.00 is too much for me to pay for any theme. Over the years I have bought many themes. There are times I buy a theme and it is not what I expected. It was bad enough when a theme was $20 or $25 dollars and I didn't use it. I can't imagine how I would feel if it were $40. I also want to be fair and say I never felt a developer was misleading or sold me a bad product.
Even at the $30 price point I am starting to work more with the FreeStack theme. Using this theme is nothing I can't do with a little elbow grease. A price of $40 makes me want to do some work instead of parting with my money.
It would have been much easier to not post. I feel this is an important matter for RapidWeaver users. I remember when themes were $12 - $17. It wasn't that long ago. The normal price jumped on all themes shortly after one developer raised the price. If this becomes the norm I will probably quit buying themes all together.
I believe that Rapidweaver is at a price point where a bargain matters, so I reckon deals/bundles/Maczot offers are a way forward. But hey, I could be wrong.
Boreal seems superb, but at $40, IE7 should be supported.
Free stack is great, but then you have the rapidcart issues which have put me ff using it. Why aren't there shopping cart stacks that don't use monthly fee services!?!

Is it possible to align them next to each other? See this test page.
As you can see, it would be far better for the Site Title to run alongside the site logo.
I have managed to achieve this by editing the CSS file (changing the h1 header to display: inline) but I came across some funky results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

$40 for a good theme that has a decent amount of options, it's responsive and the design is killer - seems like a steal to me. RW users are just used to paying less thats why prices like that may not make sense.
My two cents.

Is there a way to change the color of the content background?
...in the css?
I had a quick question, since we're on the subject: Does Boreal support extracontent areas?
Thanks!
Again the question: Is there a way to change the color of the content background?
Would be great to get an ANSWER.....in the NEAR FUTURE! Thanks
No, just the extraContent 1 for the banner area. But only for banner images, etc.

Sure, use this code in Page Info > header > CSS and replace the #000000 values with that of your own hex, color codes.
For the content background:
section#content {background: #000; }NOTE: We at NCD do not support modding, the only reason I'm giving it out is because this isn't our support desk. It's rare we give out custom code so please be mindful when applying it.

Regarding the price, why grumble? If you feel it is too expensive for what you get, don't buy it. The free market is a wonderful thing, if it is priced "too high", then it won't generate sales. RW also has canned themes built in too, which are free for those who chose to use them. However, for some professionals the price is still a steal, especially if they are using it as the basis for websites they are working on for clients.
I have no idea why Nick chose not to announce the theme in the RW announcements section, but reading through a lot of the threads (not just this one) I can understand why one might to chose not to do so. Personally I think Nick does some great work, and I hope he continues to do so far into the future...

As a member of this forum if I have something on my mind that is RapidWeaver related I will comment. There are many options when looking at themes. Like all products people purchase price does matter.
I love a free market and I also love freedom of speech. Luckily I can have both!
@JohnJ Hypocritical. You love freedom of speech yet accused me of having no class when I disliked a developer's theme in another post. And you did the exact same thing, albeit in a "classier" way.
