i thought i had seen something like this before but is there a stack available to help me with a project, what i want is a image of a map, when i move my mouse cursor over certain parts on the map it should pop up with another smaller image with information.
Hi,
The option here is to set the link to work like a pop up window... I did it once using the tiptip stack from joe workman and something like 20 text links but for your stuff you probably need something a little bit more complete ( check the popup list at http://www.stackscenter.com/ ... I guess the supertooltips would be the best one). Btw I would ask Blueball or Tsooj media if their stacks are compatible with a tooltip/popup stack.
hope this help
was actually just looking around again, does google not have a way of doing this, found a site thats using google i believe and its pretty much what im going for.
@kaden, there is also a plugin called rapid maps 2 from omnidea with a demo vs of it available. Otherwise you can check the mapdesign software http://www.ragesw.com/products/mapdesign.html, they provide a tutorial to integrate into a RW site..
good luck

The results were excellent.
I thought the learning curve was a bit steep to start with, but I was coming from a basis of not knowing the first thing about image mapping.
move your mouse over the slideshow (which can be a normal picture of a map, too)...
