How does one use the disqus. I went through the login, gave me some code...couldn't find the </body> code for the 2nd group of HTML they provided.
Thank you!
I believe the disqus code is already built into RW. When you sign up for disqus you choose a 'shortname' for your site. You go to the RW Page Set-up box and select 'disqus' as the commenting system. then you input your disqus shortname in the slot provided. That should do the trick for you.
I don't see an area in Setup that says "Commenting System" or an area to indicate disqus. I've looked in all setup areas for site and pages etc. Any suggestions? I just upgraded and using Rapidweaver 4.4b5
Thank you.

Highlight your page in the left hand column. Click on the little wrench at the bottom of the page and the page inspector will come up. If necessary click on the 'general' tab. You will see a section of blog comments. Select 'disqus' as provider, then enter your shortname in the space provided. Close and save. Now when you check a preview of your page you should see '0 comments' under each entry. Hope I've got this right...
I completely follow you, but in the Gen Settings area, there is no area for commenting/blog.
The set-up button that takes you to general settings is not what you're looking for. You're looking for the page inspector. Your main blog page (in the left column of pages) needs to be highlighted. Then you click on the wrench at the bottom of the page. That takes you to the page inspector with the settings for comments. Your disqus shortname goes in the short name slot:
Thanks for your updates. If you come across any small glitches in this release, please don't hesitate to let us know. We'll be wrapping up RW 4.4 development soon, and releasing the final version!
Cheers

Quick comment and suggestion: in RW4.3 the RSS Link "Comments Feed" & Separator "|" keep showing back up even after removing them and saving the document. Request that you allow us to remove the default inputs, save the file and when opening it back up they remain deleted. It's very annoying to keep having to remember to remove these before publishing.
So for those of us who are not using Disqus, just making your basic website, will we or those who view our websites notice anything different when using the soon-to-be-available version 4.4?
I do see the list of changes in the first post; this suggests that most of the changes "under the hood", is that the case?
Also, where on the forum do we find the discussion regarding rumors of version 5? Are there any such rumors?
You mention that RapidWeaver 4.4 uses a new version of the file format. Does anything else get changed? I am thinking in terms of plist file for RapidWeaver as I'd like to try the beta, but have to mainly be working in 4.3.1 to be compatible with clients. If it alters the plist file then I might not be able to switch without switching users on my Mac.

Hi Karn
The only thing changed in RapidWeaver 4.4's file format is the actual save file itself (there's a flag in the file that requires v4.4). Otherwise there's nothing else changed on the system.
Thanks
