DO - ABLE?
As has been mentioned with this in a previous thread, it's not a simple addition as we're generating every page for the blog (so the interlinking would potentially increase export / upload times) however if we move to a database-powered system in the future, this would be there in a shot!
Thanks

What about offering the option for those who decide to keep their pages not as lengthly and are ok with the load times to choose the navigation for past posts as an option that can be turned on or off?
Otherwise I guess the idea of building a wordpress blog and integrating it into RW becomes more of a valid possibility.

We're not going to be adding this until we're able to rework the blogging side of things. It's something we're working on, it's not going to be seen in the near future though!
Thanks

This doesn't meet you original request, but you might want to consider the wonderful RapidBlog plugin (by loghound). It seamlessly integrates a Blogger blog into RW. As far as your readers are concerned there's no "blogger" around
Thanks for this! Yes, I have been mulling over the pros and cons of attaching a third party blogging platform to my RW sites. It is a big decision considering the long term consequence of locking in...
I have been actually leaning towards using the Wordpress plug in that is out there to connect to RW.
I have read some of the debates as to which is better. Feels like Wordpress has more of a following.
I think there are a number of Wordpress enthusiasts. But from what I can make out they really like Workpress. I actually don't care about Blogger or Wordpress
Wow, what a great post, thanks so much. I had not heard of MarsEdit before and could be quite handy for my wife who needs to be able to update her blog on her own once I have set her up.
The super ease of Rapidblog is a strong plus and how well it integrates into RW is very intriguing. Perhaps even more important to me is that you said that blogger can import the old posts I had already created with RW. That has been one of my issues as I have many old posts that contain text and images and the thought of re - typing them into a new blog environment daunts me...
In the end and after all this thinking I am considering to actually not be so concerned with blog integration after all. To simply put a button in the site that says blog and when it is pressed, it opens a new window that is it's own blog with it's own design. I am not sure why I did not embrace that idea sooner but it seems that way, I will be able to freely choose the theme design of my liking and no longer worry about all the attachment concerns..
Gregory, I would advise AGAINST having a blog link pop open a new window. As a website visitor, I would be bothered by the extra window. Even if it opened in the same window, I wouldn't like it if there was no seemless navigation.

Yea, this is an issue I have been debating as well. I keep going back and forth about it.. I think I am going to have to re think this. The one push for separation is because I might use a different name for the blog and it would also allow me to choose a custom blog theme that takes full advantage of the blog potential.
From a business / marketing / branding point, I am still not clear as to which way is better..
