Application Switching - Regaining Control of RapidWeaver

I have just upgraded from RapidWeaver 4.4.2 to RapidWeaver 5, and then immediately to 5.2.1.

I notice an issue when switching to another app (eg Safari, Mail, even the Finder) and attempting to switch back to RapidWeaver. The RapidWeaver window regains the focus, but the menu bar continues to show the last application, and the RapidWeaver menus are not available. So, for example, if I switch from RapidWeaver to the Finder and back to RapidWeaver, the screen still shows "Finder" next to the Apple logo, top left.

I have carried out the usual drills: repaired permissions and checked for the same error in safe boot. The fault occurs about 50% of the time I switch, and still occurs in safe boot. I am using a Mac Pro 1.1, OSX 10.6.8 and RW 5.2.1.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Is there a fix?

    We're currently looking into this. Our developers are investigating this at the moment, so I don't have any further information until we've got a cause, however we'll be aiming to hit this in a 5.2.2 release.

    same here. It even crashes when I try to send a crash-report so the application has become very unstable

    maybe try this, on Lion: always work in fullspace in RW, that means it's open on it's own space
