    Was a straight shooter and no time to waste and even less for fools, but he was a listener too.
    At the same time a consumate advocate for change and experimentation.

    What a shame that it's often the good people that have to leave us first - Bert Jansch yesterday, and now Steve Jobs today. Without a shadow of doubt, Steve played a huge role in shaping technology and setting high benchmarks for others to follow. Certainly he will be remembered as one of the most influential yet inspirational characters of our time. A true pioneer.

    I think many of us would be leading very different lives right now, if it wasn't for Steve. RIP.

    I started using Apple products because of Steve. I am a bit surprised by the amount of remembrances from people all around the world. Can't imagine any other business CEO's passing getting such a reaction. Shows just how special Mr. Jobs was.

    My thoughts are with his family at this time. He was a father and husband. While i wasn't surprised by the news it is a shocking reality. I hope Apple has the guns to continue. Those are some big shoes to fill.
