Finally, after months of work, we're ready to release our newest and biggest stack yet:
Ultimate Gallery.
What the stack does
At it's core, this stack set allows you to create galleries based on 500px, Picasa, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, Drag and Drop or Warehoused content; 7 data sources in all.
This stack set is available for the low price of $18.95 (this includes all the data sources listed above).
If you want to, you can choose to buy only the gallery you need. Each gallery is available for $12.95 separately.
Key Features
4 Layout Types
Each gallery can be styled in 4 different ways: 1. Grid - 2. List - 3. Sequence - 4. Carousel
2 Lightbox Skins
You can choose between 2 completely different layouts for the lightbox.
Advanced Preloading
Images are automatically preloaded so that the loading indicator is shown as few times as possible.
Lightbox Can be Used Separately
The included lightbox can be used as a standalone lightbox. This is a $9.95 value.
Protect Your Images
Prevent right clicking and dragging of images.
Display More Than Just Your User Feed
You can also showcase search results, favorites, etc.. (all depending on the gallery - see the documentation)
Lots and Lots of Settings
Choose your opening animation, border width, rounded corners, background image, shadow, opacity, zoom, rotation, etc etc...
Built-In Documentation
Documentation is built right in to the stack.
Demo Time
We've created about 10 different demos, just to show you all that is possible with this stack set:

I've set up a test page and I'm wondering one thing... I receive a notice on my page saying "Notice: Undefined offset 3 in"... and then it shows my path to my pics. What have I missed (or included) that shows this notice?
One additional question, can the warehoused images be from any warehouse source (Images in Warehouse 1 - To be displayed in Site 2?) or do they have to be from the site your linking to. I have numerous images in a separate folder under another sites name and the Warehouse stack was unable to find it.
Will you be listing a series of answers for the various "Notices'? Kind of like a troubleshooting guide?
Otherwise, This stack set is awesome. I was up and running in about 10 minutes (so far.)
Thanks in advance.

For now, images have to be on the same server. I could make this work only if the directory on the other website shows a list of all files when you navigate to it directly in your browser. Is that the way it is? Of course, if there is no way to read that directory, I cannot.
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments!

pre-purchase questions:
- any issue with jQuery based themes?
- does PlusKit @import work fine (importing Ultimate Gallery in another page, I mean) and, if so, does it also work in RW's Preview mode?
- ... what's the "pin" in bottom right corner for?
thanks
paolosavonuzzi.org
To answer your questions:
- Pluskit @import from a styled text page works great, no issues there.
- The pin in the info bar allows the user to define whether or not the info bar should auto-hide after a specified amount of time. So the user can "pin" it making it show the entire time. You can set the default for this in rapidweaver: auto-hide or show all the time.
- jQuery based themes: I don't think there should be any issues, I have tested in quite a few themes but of course it's impossible to say that it will work in all themes. If you do come across an issue, just let me know and I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Wesley

Now let's go to some of my website and try some combinations ! thanks again !
I'm wondering when the update will be released, or if it's already sent out, oops, I missed it.
One more question...
Is the Grid Gallery capable of displaying anything other than the actual image name? Or is it just going to rely on the image name itself?
Thanks again.
Mike X
The warehouse grid can display your own image titles in two ways;
1) set nr descriptions in the HUD to the total nr of images you have. Then add descriptions inside RW. Type the filename in field 1, then the title, and then a possible description.
2) Via a tab delimited file. You can do this in excel and save as a text file (tab delimited) In the first column again the filename, then the title, and then the description. Save this as descriptions.txt and upload it to the source folder.

But I have issues with the Picasa Gallery.
I want to show a non-public album on my website. Picasa tells me that only people having the link to this album can display it.
But when I insert this link in the HUD I get the error message "Picasa stack encountered an error while retrieving data".
The link from Picasa is this link and the short form also works.
I tried both of them in the HUD but neither of them works.
I need help, please!
Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
unfortunately it's not possible at the moment to display non-public albums. This is because the google api requires authorization when requesting such albums. That would be fine to make, but the problem is that the returned authorization is only short-lived (which means it only works for 2 weeks max, obviously not a good solution).
However, I'm thinking about making a PHP version of the picasa version, in that case, authorization could be included and the results cached locally so that it does not expire. But this is all premature, I will have to investigate that a little more.
For now, best would be to set the album to public, or create another account that no one knows about.
If you need any more help, you can contact me via my site.

And it's worth to mention the excellent support by Wesley in case of trouble.

This is indeed a lovely stack, but I'm afraid I'm having an issue. I'm using both the Vimeo and Flickr stacks for my portfolio site. In Rapidweaver, both populate just fine, (I correctly entered the API for the Flickr and specific albums for the Vimeo)
However when I publish the site, neither stack populates with anything.
Here's the site: http://ervenfernandez.com/work/
Attached is a screenshot from the same page in preview mode.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
EDIT: Never mind! Re-publishing seemed to correct the issue!
Any thoughts??

The page is ervenfernandez.com/work
Attached is what it is supposed to look like:

For a while I was able to get around the above issue by simply adding "www." before "ervenfernandez.com" in my browser. However that no longer works. (strange!)
Any ideas? I can't get the content to appear on any machine or browser I try
Thanks!
I appreciate any advice anyone might have.
Thanks!

Is it possible to create a slideshow on a webpage which automatically displays the contents of a Picasa album? I need to put a slideshow on the front page of a site, and play without interaction of the visitor. The images need to be full width of the body (960px). I've had a look through the Ultimate Gallery help and HUD but I can't find a way of doing this...
Is it possible, or maybe a future feature?
Thanks, Lee
