Omnidea Rapidcart coupons not working?

Hello everyone ;-)

I seem to be having problems with my coupons not working during the checkout process on my site. It should give an additional 10% off the retail price when using the coupon "pars". Please check it out and let me know if you get it to work.

I'm on a PHP 5.2 server but iit's still acting up. I use Mecca Hosting for my host.

Thanks in advance.

    Coupon codes are per-item.
Make sure the correct item is added to the cart.

Thank you for the reply. I have the coupon codes entered individually, but they are still not being applied? I added two more pages to my site:

    http://www.authenticruggallery.com/store/store_small.html

    http://www.authenticruggallery.com/store/store_medium.html

all the items on these pages should apply a 10% discount with the code: "farsbook" , but they still do not work?

Please advise what to do next.

    Thank you

    Coupon codes are per-item.
This means you need to set a unique coupon code for each of your items.
If you want to use a coupon code for multiple items, you have to set the same SKU for the items and set the coupon in one of them

I've spent a whole frustrating day being given the runaround by the omnimedia "support"!! group about this as well!. (I even called them in Italy a couple of times, desperate for some real solution to this, given the amount of time invested in this program). For the first two or three days we went back and forth about the PHP 5.2 and above requirement! When that was solved, I got the same story about the program requiring a separate coupon code for each SKU number - so if you have 25 items, you have to put in 25 coupon codes - your customers had better have this straight!!

Any advice on how to get omnimedia to fix this so a coupon code is usable in the way we all understand it to be: a code for a certain discount, irrespective of product or SKU numbers.

Is it only me or do any of you out there get the feeling that you rarely get a fix from omnimedia - just some stalling techniques, till you stop communicating out of frustration!

PHP 5.2 requirement is clearly specified in plugin window, RapidCart FAQ and RapidCart Manual.
As already stated (and as written in RapidCart Documentation... ) Coupon Codes are per item/SKU.
At the moment RapidCart doesn't support cart-wide coupon codes, unless you use the same SKU for all the items you want the coupon code to be applied on.
We are working to add cart-wide coupon codes to RapidCart in future releases.

We had coupons per item for each item on the page (and each item in its own sku) - and it all worked fine. The only catch was users couldn't pick more than one discount per checkout (but they could checkout multiple times with different items).

    Hi GJug,
I've just answered to your support request.
There's something wrong with PHP code RapidCart uses to check coupon's validity.
If it has been working in the past, this means that something is changed on server side.
