3 New Bargain Stacks from Joe Workman

joeworkmanjoeworkman SF Bay Area, CAPosts: 1,380Members

I have 3 stacks that are all do one small thing but do it very well! All of the below stacks are available now on my store for only $0.95.

Date Time

image

Date Time will dynamically display today's date or the date that your webpage was last published. You can chose from over a dozen different date and time formats. It also supports localization in 25 different languages! You can also style the text size and color. For more info, check out the Date Time Product Page.

Fluid Image

image

Fluid Image is a responsive design based image stack. If you have a responsive or variable width site, this stack will allow the image to grow and shrink in size with your site instead of just sitting there at the same fixed height and width. You can even apply CSS borders, corner radius and drop shadows to your image. For more info, check out the Fluid Image Product Page.

Markdown

image

Markdown is getting crazy popular. Now you can type your webpage contents directly in Markdown and have it converted to HTML for you automatically! The stack comes with a great cheat sheet built-in in order to help you get up to speed with the Markdown syntax. For more info, check out the Markdown Product Page.

I hope that you enjoy these new stacks!

Edit: I forgot to mention that the bargain price on these stacks is only for a limited time. Act fast!

Cheers,
Joe

... can you, please, add "Thursday, 29 December 2011" as date format for us, always neglected europeans? ;-p

    thanks :-)

(yes: no comma between Month and YYYY)

thank you Joe: fast and great as usual :-)

... but... something wrong here, maybe... 1.0.1 was downloaded and installed again. same is happening, since yesterday, with Auto Refresh: 1.1.0 keeps coming instead of 1.1.1 :-(

Honestly, I did not even test the update date format. Please let me know if it does not work as you expected.

in RW (Stacks), Finder and PathFinder. also... I quit and relaunch RW and "Stacks' red alert" shows again, redownload and... :-/

yes: I moved RapidWeaver's folder from Application Support (to keep in synch my desktop and laptop), but a symlink is in the right place and every other update, so far, went just fine

Joe: Thanks for the markdown stack. Very nice!

The preview mode, however, doesn't seem to work for me. Publishes just fine. Did a little playing around: previews just fine when markdown is the only stack on page, not so well when other stacks (at least the very few I've tested with).

One thing to watch out for on the Date Time stack (don't know about the others) is that it automatically changes the page type to php. If you're revising an existing html page you must remember to delete that from the webserver. I was scratching my head wondering why the stack wasn't showing up until I realised that both index.php and index.html existed and I was still looking at index.html.

I cannot replicate this... Do you have the "Preview Markdown" setting checked. One thing to note... only have that setting checked once per page (for when you have multiple Markdown stacks per page).

Very good point. This sort of thing gets a lot of people. Both the Date Time and the Markdown stack use PHP.

Yes, preview markdown checked. Does not happen with all stacks. So far seems to happen with CSV Grid stack and Grid Iron stack. (I have not done a thorough check of possible stack conflicts so there may be others.) Maybe it's some conflict with all that "table stuff."

    Publishes just fine.

done (*once more*, btw) to no avail :-/
the weird part is that, the same day also Elevator got an update (and another stack by symfonip) and all but Auto Refresh updated just fine in the same RW session (one at a time: I haven't used "update all")

some server along the way caching stuff?

Small update to Fluid Image just released. This update makes it a little easier to work with in Edit mode. It also strips the border and shadow CSS when settings are not checked.
