PDF embedding and inconsistent display

In doing some updates to our website, I have been trying to find a way to show a PDF of a schedule that changes regularly. We have been using SCRIBD and it has worked well but with some changes in their policies you are no longer able to download a document unless you upload one first. Not understanding what is behind this change. Anyway members of the club want to download and print the document. Also the training director needs to update the schedule several times before it is final.

In this process I have been exploring other options. Using PDF Object code:

Rapidweaver shows a pdf that has the toolbar at the top. You can see it in the attached image. When published though there is no toolbar in any of the browsers I have tested on a Mac.(see attached image) There seem to be a lot of problems when viewed on a PC with any browser.

First why is the toolbar not showing, this computer has the latest Adobe reader installed and it seems to work with Rapidweaver?

Second why is pdf not taking most of the assigned space when viewed in the browser?

And last how is the best way to embed some info that all can view and print? I thought that pdfs were universal enough that all browsers just handled them.

Any help is appreciated.

From what I have seen of RapidViewer(I have a demo version or did I already buy it) it is just a Google Doc Viewer stack. I have used the Google Doc code and do not get a consistent display with it either. Some PC browsers work with it but other don't. Can you tell me anything about RapidViewer that goes beyond appending the doc location to the Google Doc URL?

RapidViewer uploads your document for you and lets you display it thru Google Docs Viewer if supported or embed it in a iframe.
In addition you can directly link a Google Docs document.

I am testing it now and asking the membership to view it to see if it works for them. I did noticed that when I turned off the simple viewer that I got a lot more options on the published page. I would like though to do away with the left column showing the pages. Is this possible?

This is a Google Docs feature that can't be disabled from RapidViewer.
