Hi, I'm new. Just built www.mindbodymedicalart.com but friends are saying the text is jumbled on an iPhone. Do I need to build another site just for iPhone? And if so, is there a way that when a person lands on www.mindbodymedicalart, com the first thing they see is a page that says will direct them to the right site (that is the one made for the computer or the one made for iPhone) . How do I deal with this issue?
Thanks Jen

Hi Jen and welcome to the forum,
Unless you are using a theme that is designed to take this into account, then the alternative is to use the Mobilize plug-in from NimbleHost, you can also use a demo version but it is restricted and I believe you can buy a couple of the mobile themes as well as the mobilize plug-in which Jonathan is selling in a bundle.

Thank you for your speedy response. So you're saying a front page that leads to a site made for an iPhone wouldn't be a good solution? This is actually what I'd like to do but I'm not sure how to get both sites on one server. Is that possible?
Again, thank you!
Jen,
What Jonathan at NimbleHost is saying is you should have a separate web site for cell phones and other mobile devices with small screens. This will make sure visitors using those types of devices will have the best browsing experience.
There is actually only one project file or web site you will be creating as both the normal one and the mobile one reside in the same place, it is just the naming convention of the folders, for ease of reference I will call them - http:www.normal and the mobile version - http:normal/mobile. A quick bit of RW terminology - and excuse me if you know this - all the pages of your web site go into folder(s) using the examples above - so things like about; gallery etc will go into their own separate folders - http:normal/about/ ; http:normal/gallery/ etc. For all those pages going into the mobile version you duplicate the pages but then and this is important make sure they go into their respective folders and using the same naming as above http:normal/mobile/about; http:normal/mobile/gallery. Jonathan does explain this in great detail on his web site and has excellent documentation. You do have to make sure your hosting account can take php4+ otherwise it will not work.
Hope that makes sense if not then I am sure Jonathan will be able to explain it far better than I can.

To add it to the Page Inspector via the Header Tab ] Meta Tags put viewport under "Name" and initial... under "Content"

I should have taken the time to read through the link you sent before I replied. However, I appreciate you explaining it in more detail. Now I'm sure this is the right solution.
Very kind thanks, Jen M
