Hi,

Does anyone know and/or recommend an E-Com Addon that works with Apple small devices??

I am using PayLoom and it does not work on IPhones/IPads..... it does work on Androids....and of course PC and Macs....

I have clients that are concerned with this......

What are my options...? I looked into PaySnap, but its looks like to many steps for each product to list... I frequently do E-Com stores with a 1000 products for martial art schools....

Example: www.orientalgateway.us

Thanks!

    Hi there,

RapidCart works well on iPhones. I've built several sites with it and they all work great.

I launched a new one last night actually if you want to try it out: www.eleanordevetre.com

I'm building a site at the moment using PaySnap and i know what you mean about the item configurations, it can be time consuming, but it does give great flexibility to be able to use it within a stacks page.

Alternatively you could check out Lynx (from NCD Themes) or CartLoom.

    Hope that helps.

Wow! Karate Ducati, thanks so much for this post. I just purchased RW & PayLoom 2 yesterday, and was just starting to convert our Frontpage websites to RapidWeaver - because we've switched to a Mac platform (you know, Mac, iPhone, iPad...). I thought I'd done my homework in this new Apple world. I previewed PayLoom and was thrilled with it, but this problem is a show stopper. Did I miss something on the YabDab website that said it didn't support Apple mobile products? I've written YabDab support and I'm really really hoping you're wrong about this. While I'm at it, I've asked about the 2010 forum post regarding problems with I.E. 8 websites. Anymore surprises out there? If someone else can jump in on this and address these concerns I'd be forever grateful. And again, K.D. I'm very glad for the heads-up. The websites support our businesses and time spent building them is time away from work. I don't have time or $$ to spare to start over or to buy inadequate products. Thanks again. Clarissa

    Update......

Payloom works on the Ipad (3) the new one.. not on Ipad2.. but on Ipad1... can't blame Payloom..... Apple seems to be the culprit...

Iphone...? same thing.... seems to be what phone gen it is.....

    Cartloom works.

It also has an iPhone application which lets you add new products / pictures etc on the road.

    Hi,

its interesting when you say that it works on the iPad3 and 1, but not the iPad 2. Can you confirm that all 3 are running the same version of iOS, because that would be the only real fundamental difference that would stop it working on one iPad over another.

If they are all using the same version of Safari, and have the same settings then it would work the same.

    My Mistake!

.... from my small amount of research....its this...

    Does NOT work on IPad1
Does work on IPad2 and 3

Does NOT work on any IPhones

again I have not tried every version using different browsers.... but this seems to be the facts...

    take care...

As noted on the YabDab site, be aware that several of their Stacks and/or Plug-ins do not work with sites hosted on GoDaddy - at least not easily. I've managed to get all of mine working - including FormLoom - but I don't mind delving into the PHP. (I also have their products working just fine in my ASP.net sites - but that's a whole different animal).

    Cheers,

I don't use GoDaddy.. I have had problems too, most notably FormLoom.. I got it to work (sometimes). I encourage clients to switch. If not, then I tell them I can't be responsible for any issues. They ALWAYS change....

I like PayLoom a lot more then Rapaidcart... but Rapidcart works on all devices.....

Thanks gideon00. I'll check it out. As an aside, your embedded URL is just slightly off. There is an extra "http://" at the end of it. To save others the trouble of landing on a Page not found - please click HERE instead.

Oh, and your page looks fantastic!!

    Cheers,

    Dave
