Not too sure I've followed you correctly, but I use cut and paste on a Styled Text page rather than drag and drop, as you need to get it right first time given the 'interesting' behaviour RapidWeaver has with it's undo.
Is there any possible way to enlarge the blocks page itself so the is not a big margine down each side?
Dave
It is possible to increase the page width via the Blocks Page Inspector.
However, the theme itself will always place a certain amount of padding around the content area (the amount of which will vary from theme to theme.) This cannot be overridden by Blocks though the theme itself could be modified if necessary.
I would experiment with Blocks first; get a feel for what can be achieved with it.

Hi Dave,
In RapidWeaver open a new page and from the drop-down list of page types select 'Blocks.'
Kind regards
