  Not too sure I've followed you correctly, but I use cut and paste on a Styled Text page rather than drag and drop, as you need to get it right first time given the 'interesting' behaviour RapidWeaver has with it's undo.

  Is it possible to group text with images, so i can move both together without them seperating?

  Have a look at the Blocks plugin from YourHead. Here you can easily group text and images as "blocks".

  It is possible to increase the page width via the Blocks Page Inspector.
  However, the theme itself will always place a certain amount of padding around the content area (the amount of which will vary from theme to theme.) This cannot be overridden by Blocks though the theme itself could be modified if necessary.
  
  I would experiment with Blocks first; get a feel for what can be achieved with it.
