It has been built with Simplify theme from weaver theme’s, banners have been done with symNivo and plus kit, Stacks on pages and Accordion on main home page.
The brief was the large logo/banner must be at top, a lot of text, simple and easy to use and at all times phone numbers must be in easy reach of the viewers, as the owner says “as soon as someone calls us they don’t go any ware else”.
Had the little problem with main page and symNivo banner with Accordion under IE8/IE9 so had to disable that at this time for main page (works on other sub pages), hopefully Vitor from WeaverTheme’s can solve!
Anyway what do you all think?

]]>This is my first site - well actually it’s the third rewrite of my first site - and I’m not a professional site designer.
My objective in the design is to portray solid professional experience with a touch of flare. I don’t want dependable to become dull but I also need to appeal to some very conservative clients.

I started, back at Christmas, using Brandon Lee’s fantastic Inhabit theme but ran in to trouble with my IE6 users so swapped to Themeflood’s Photogenic theme. However, the more you get in to this stuff the more freedom you want!!
So now I’m using Blueball’s FreeStack.
I’ve done the graphics placement with DeFilGra’s new ImageLayout stack and I struggled for ages to get content from hidden pages to turn up in multiple parts of the site - the knowledge snippets that show in DooBox’s Spin stack on the home page are pulled from the same page as the items in the Hunter stack in the resources library, using pluskit and import. I’m also pleased with the accordion effect I’ve managed to get by embedding Exposer Pro stacks into the Hunter stack in the resource library page - Sorry Isaiah, I don’t seem to be able to stick to your one effect per page rule!
There are also still some tweaks to do (aren’t there always) and a ton of content still to go in. I couldn’t have got this far without the support of the theme developers, some of whom I’ve not even bought stuff from yet!!
I’d really appreciate any feedback, comments or suggestions, good or bad.
