I’ve been in the computer and communications industry since 1966. I started at ICL in London. (I’m a UK and soon US citizen). I was brought to the states to work on Apollo but they shut that program down. I worked for the World Bank for 100 years, traveling the world setting up IT infrastructures for governments in Africa and Asia. I left in 1998 although I consulted for a while. I was selected by NASA in 2006 as a “Solar System Ambassador”. In this program, I am trained by NASA engineers and I perform outreach in schools - where I try to encourage kids to stay in school, and wow them with earth and space science. If you want to be on my mailing list, email me.
I also love renovating houses (right!) and play acoustic blues guitar. I am the lucky owner of two Lowdens and a Gibson.
I split my time between Washington DC and an island in Greece where I have a lovely home.
