Say hello to Limeâ?¦
I have been working on the Lime theme for some time now. It takes into account some requests by users of our themes, including ExtraContent. This new theme, Lime, is a professional, bold design that is very good just any sort of site you can dream up. It is great for creating a business site, a blog, a portfolio a personal or school site and much more.

Below is a quick rundown of Limeâ??s features. You can jump over to the product page to learn all the details as well as check out the live preview site and walk-thru video.

Lime offersâ?¦

• Six content width options, ranging from 600 px up through 1,100 px. The default width if 900 px
• Ten header backgrounds, including the ability to use the RapidWeaver Color Picker to choose a solid color
• Eight different header overlays which allow you to better customize the look of your site. Overlays default to being not visible
• Six blank header overlays for use with RWmultitool
• Four header content / height options, which include the ability to use ExtraContent in the header
• Two additional ExtraContent areas (in addition to the header option). One is just below the header, the other in the footer.
• Nine bold menu style choices.
• The sidebar can be placed on either the right- or left-hand side of the site, or hidden altogether. Default is on the right-hand side
• Five different blog badge styles. The default is a stylish star.
• Ability to add extra style to the sub menu bar with a riveted look.
• Ability to add the page’s title to the top of the content area. Defaults to being hidden
• Sixteen different color picker options. These are detailed in the variations section (click the eyedropper icon above).

Take Gyro for a spin
The Gyro stack is an image slider stack that can create elegant rotating banners for your Rapidweaver site. With all of the debates about the future of flash on the web, the smart thing to do is use simple widgets that utilize HTML/CSS/Javascript so that your site can be viewed across all platforms, even mobile. Gyro does just that! 

You will enjoy the simplicity of implementing the Gyro stack. Similar to the Stacks Plug-in, the interface is intuitive and easy to build, while under the hood, its still very powerful machine. Gyro will hold as many images as you want and will dynamically build an elegant navigation ribbon. There are also 6 different ribbon themes to choose from out of the box that can be displayed on either the right or left hand side!

Learn the ins and outs of RapidWeaver
RapidWeaver Classroom has begun a new series of video tutorials incorporating much of the RapidWeaver Classroom curriculum that has been developed over the course of nearly two years.  The Complete Design Demonstration series takes you through the process of designing a website from start to finish, using many of the different 3rd-party plugins and theme features such as ExtraContent.

The purpose of this series is to demonstrate the usage of plugins and other features in a real-world scenario, and to break-down designs that are seemingly complex into something much more simple.  To begin this new series, you can learn how many of the pages at RapidWeaver Classroom were developed, utilizing 3rd-party plugins such as Stacks, PlusKit, Carousel, Accordion, Collage 2, EasyTube, and more.

Thanks. Just fixed it.

If you’re one of our newsletter subscribers I apologize that you received it three times today. We had some wrong links and a misplaced graphic in the first version. When I went to resend it somehow the explanation to the problem didn’t go through correctly. Seems the newsletter service I use had a problem saving the newsletter and part of it ended up blank.

The third version went out with an explanation, but many users have not read the explanation since they’re upset they received it three times. I apologize for the problem.

This is one of your best, Adam, really slick, modern and professional looking theme. Great work and I love the Gyro integration.

Just a heads up: Can’t tell what this theme is like because the host pages either never load or load extremely slowwwwwwwwwwly. In this case it’s not my computerâ??all other pages I’m going to load fast and quick. I realize this slow server may fix itself in the near future, but at the moment (at least) I can only get to the front page of Lime (at best) but never to any of the more detailed pages.

Seems to be loading fine here right now. Might have just been due to the high traffic of launch day. Give it another try now.

For the life of me I can’t get anything to appear in EC1. I’ve even gone as far a copying over your demo stack and it still won’t put gyro into the header. I’ve even copied over your setting in the Page Inspector. Still won’t work. I have everything checked and selected. What am I missing? I did copy the theme but I opened you demo and checked it in both themes and it works, but not mine.

I’m redoing an existing site, surely I don’t have to start from scratch? I know it’s something simple..

Might be something to do with the content and or javascript you have on the page already. Send me your project file and I’ll have a look.

Have a look at the sample file that ships with Gyro. It puts Gyro into EC1.

I’ll send off the file tomorrow. The sample files work great, adding a blank stacks page to an existing project works great. Add gyro into EC1 on an existing page, no go.

No a huge deal, I can work around it but I’ll send you the file on Monday.
