Hey All…
I have a new project that I am embarking on, a retail jewelry site that will have their hands full of different items for sale. Here’s what I need to do - is it possible through RW?
They need a simple editable field where they can add items as they get more and then remove them if they are no longer available. This solution should be very simple for them to navigate, upload and add information.
He showed me their current CMS, an administrative area with a few custom drop downs, where he logs in and is able to remove items without changing the integrity of the site.
AND a very simple area that he can upload his pictures, and add a description, maybe even category pricing etc. to the site.
Is there a solution out there that can do this?
I’m used to using Cushy CMS, and don’t think that will work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you!
David

I think this will need another solution than RW. For bigger shops I love Magento, for smaller shops maybe Wordpress and the Shopp plugin is an option.
But…I’m also curious for RW solutions!
If you can’t convince them, confuse them.
Can that be integrated into a RW site?
Thank you.

I’m afraid not, Magento is an e-commerce Open Source Software solution. If lucky you may be able to use Wordpress site in a frame of RW, but think it’s tricky.

KK…thank you…that’s too bad. Any other suggestions would be great.
Thank you.
