Hi all
Is it possible to use shadowbox without integrating it into the theme !?
I mean just by adding some codes (javascriptes, css, and so…) somewhere within our project ?
Most lightbox clones can be easily added to a single page by adding the necessary files to page assets.
Then it’s just a matter of adding the correct paths to the script and link tags (for the javascript and css) and inserting this info into Page Inspector>Custom Header.

Hi Phil
Thank you for replying. I think I will need a short “how to do” for Shadowbox.
For instance, I did try to add all folder to “assets”; but couldn’t how to call it for a single page containing a picture float left with text wrapped around ( using your snippet ! )
OK - You’ve caught me in a good mood.
The following tutorial is for a quick and dirty installation. It may contain bits and pieces that are unnecessary for your needs.
1: Download the full Shadowbox Demo.
2: Open the index.html in the demo (with a text editor) and copy the following parts highlighted in blue.

The parts highlighted in red (src) will need to be changed to ‘assets’.
The part outlined in red can be discarded.
3: Paste it into Page Inspector>Custom Header.

Note: I have outlined the parts that I changed to assets.
4: Open the ‘src’ folder in the Shadowbox folder and copy the folders and js file into page assets.

5: Add your thumbnail to the page and add the full size image to page assets. Link your thumbnail to the full size image.

6: In custom attributes:
Under name add - rel
Under value add - shadowbox

Here is Shadowbox working in the Aqualicious Theme.

I swear that this is the last lightbox clone tutorial I’m ever going to do. There are different tutorials scattered all over the new and old forums. If you can add lightbox to a page then you can add shadowbox, litebox, thickbox, thisbox, thatbox, crapbox and any other ‘box’ that someone comes up with. The installation is practically the same on all of them and we don’t need 300 lightbox clone tutorials.
Sorry for the Rant >:-o
Very Best,

Hi after Marten pointed me to this tutorial, I installed it and it works! Thanks for the tutorial. Nevertheless I have one issue which I cannot solve on my own:
I need to scale the shadowbox HTML content. I dont know why I manage to scale the width but not the height:
#shadowbox_body {
position: relative;
margin: AUTO;
padding: 0;
border: 1px solid #333;
overflow: hidden;
height: 200px;
width: 384px;
The 384px work fine but the 200 just get ignored
Can someone help?
thanks
