I had a 45 minute conversation last night with Kim Brenner. She asked me to share some things about Ed and his life. will be writing a blog post and putting a link here when I get it done over this weekend.
Kim is suppose to call me back with the…
Off track? Yes and No...
My purpose was to initiate a dialog on improving our community. Making the Forums for friendly and useful.
But I have no issue with moving the next stage of this conversation to a new thread. At least for the Stack 2 p…

I'm not sure about a "redesign" but the "subtitles" of the various "subsections" should be reviewed and modified to "simplify" the question "Where should I post?"

This has turned into a healthy discussion.
We can't go back but we can bring the best of the past into the now and future forum.
Yes, there have been issues with RW5, third party products, support and "words" between users".
The transition …

Nice thread Larry. I half expected a guest appearance by Tom Beardmore, lol. I miss Tom.
Tom was "The Man" and I learned from him. I owe him much for my good start here.
I hoped he would return for a few years but finally let …

Hey Larry
Thanks for bringing this important topic up. As someone who started off as just a customer of Realmac's using the forums in 2004, there's definitely been peaks and troughs of troll-like behaviour, and hopefully this pat…

I just have to comment that this thread in Announcements may be the single most positive thing I've read in the forums in a long time. That may be Larry's point -- and it may also be a shame -- but there is always hope.

Thanks for all the responses and those who have read this thread so far.
The main purpose of this is summed up in one word: Civility
On the web it's so easy to be rude, tactless and foul mouthed. Many would not act that way if in person, face …
Aaah, RW4 then. RW5 works great and is the future. I recommend it.
RePublish is an option in the File Menu to have RW send all files, not just changes, to the server again

In RW and Stacks text stack I get perfect lists.
The code from RW is:
[ul class="circle"][li]The small red fox jumped over the fence[/li][li]The small red fox jumped over the fence[/li][li]The small red fox jumped over the fence[/li][li]The sma…
I can see what the issue is. The first line is:
[li] then text here
The rest are
• then text here.
I will go and look in RW and try to duplicate this
Yes,
Use this custom css
.ydts-tabs ul li a {
font-family: georgia, serif;
}
If you have trouble getting it to work add the !important statement right after serif
Hope this helps

@juliemania That is the type of thing that Isaiah wants to know about. It happens to some and not others. He is very interested in nailing this down so any info you can provide to him would probably help out.

I'm wondering if the issue is that you have not set the Master Style so as you add pages the new pages revert to the theme default of 800.

There is a height slider and a caption opacity slicer. If the height is moving then I would assume you are sliding the wrong one.

My best answer is, if they don't show in the code view of the site then they area not doing anything.
If they do show (I don't see them) then you might want to put the correct text relevant to the site in them.
My 2 Cents
I had to use this:
.caption_content {
color: #fff!important;
padding-left: 130px!important;
}
Adjust the padding until it looks right.
Set your caption opacity slider down to 30 or below
Give this a go
#nav li a {
padding-bottom: 0px!important;
padding-top: 10px!important;
}
Adjust the padding-top to adjust the height of each nab bar item
