Using Typography, things look fine in the immediate preview but when I preview to browser the wrong formatting appears. Why?
Using Typography, things look fine in the immediate preview but when I preview to browser the wrong formatting appears. Why?
Ah, the age-old tale of “what-you-see” kinda-not-being “what-you-get” when it comes to browser previews. A few gremlins could be behind this mischief:
CSS Caching: Your browser might be clinging to an old stylesheet like a nostalgic packrat. Try a hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) or clear your cache to ensure it’s fetching the updated styles.
External Resources: If you’re using custom fonts or other external resources, they might not be loading correctly in the browser. Double-check the URLs and your active connections.
Theme Settings: Ensure your Elements Theme and Typography settings are consistent and saved before previewing.
Dev Diaries & Updates: Sometimes tiny bugs creep in, but the weekly updates from our lovely developers usually squash these. Make sure Elements is up-to-date.
If all else fails, summon the great wizards of the Support Forum, where help will always be given at Elements to those who ask for it. ![]()
