Decided to encase each audio player in back background - for clarity and a sense of each item.

Before I copy and duplicate 80 players - Should I change the audio player size? or Ok? Thoughts?

In 2.0.0 Beta 1 - I am unable to curve the borders on the audio player - or container level…

I do like the large artwork…

WTH… why 80 audio players on the homepage? You wanna attract site visitors or scare them away?

Record Company….

I’ve got 1300 songs….

Only showing 80….

Not trying to scare people off - trying to display content…

I’ve thought of different ways to display content - but if I categorize for example: blues, alternative, classical, etc

There is no serendipity - no exploration - no exposure to new different kinds of music…

People would be funneled into a specific genre….

So I’m trying to mix all kinds of music together and let people explore different styles

Still no need to show so many on the frontage. That’s absolutely overwhelming and a terrible UX too. And that might drive users away, which surely isn’t what you want.

You could offer a handful on the Homepage, (maybe in a slider, if that’s possible). Then describe what more you offer and guide your visitor from there. And if you insist of having 80 or more audio players on a single page (which I think is a terrible idea) warn your visitors before they click the link 😉

But if you insist on having those on the front page, try and resize/compress your images at least. Those alone are 5.5MB when loading your page. Though, that’s a rather general advice.

Hi Michael, I know you do all of the work. But perhaps you can ask @weaver to create a design for you which you can then adjust and fill with your content? He has a good eye for customer acceptance and the way to issue information on webpages…

Good idea 👍

I have been playing with artwork sizes on the large player - starting at 72 then scaling up to 96

This helps - imho - a lot

Taking my time on this… did 6 converts of 80

1 recording shows on mobile - then 2 recordings show until you get to the largest screen then 3 recordings per row…
