Quick reminder for plugin developers.
As of the next build (i.e. any build # higher than 16420b), RapidWeaver 7 will no longer call
unloadPluginOnDocumentClose on your plugins. The console log that RW outputs about this has been updated to reflect the fact that the method is no longer called.
As of RapidWeaver 7 Public Beta 2, we will no longer warn you that a plugin is used outdated memory management. If you have not yet moved to using
dealloc for RapidWeaver 7, this should be an absolute priority to ensure stability with public betas.
We’re aware of the Blog, Contact and Photo Album plugins still being affected by this, too and will be ensuring our code is all ready for PB1.
