# All my images disappeared

After saving my project and re-opening next day all the images have disappeared. Any suggestion to get them back (aside of course the hard way of bringing them in again manually) Thanks for any help.

Will this kind of trouble be handled in next version?  
It is paid software…

If you search the forum for ‘disappearing images’ you’ll see this has come up before. There may be some guidance there.

This is probably the best thread for learning about the missing images issue in RapidWeaver 7. My understanding is that this bug was corrected in RW8. However you should ask the RMS guys directly about this as only they will be able to say for certain.

Finally found a back-up with most images in it and with the hints you gave I hope to prevent it from happening again.
