This is one of those things where you just have to keep tweaking the offset until it is right. I use this exact same approach, and it took me a few attempts to get it just right. Except I used REMS instead of pixels. ---

I followed the above example but whilst my page loads, the page does not scroll down to anchor; > **[Platt Author - Darren Fisher](https://plattunited.co.uk/more/author/)** > > Daz Fisher - Author of Platt Utd FC website The page in question is linked from 1996-97 and clicking on; **MMKSL Premier Winners - Bearsted (Sun)** Page should scroll down to table headed 1996-97 If anyone can confirm if it works for them so I can rule out browser problem. Thanks. ---

put the 1996-97 in a container, give it an id and link it. I do this on many pages without problems. The extra scroll code is not necessary, I don’t use this, just a container with an id. ---

Thanks for reply, but tried that and still not working. And just to be clear, my anchor is on another page. ---

Your site worked now when I tried. On my Mac. But not on my iPad. You need to clean the cash or try with another browser. iPad okey now @DazFisher
