I’m having the same issue with RW. I’ve been having a conversation with my host’s tech support and after a few hours of checking their response was:
It’s quite possible the connections weren’t closing properly hence the kick out
This does not happen with Transmit
I get this too - can publish the first time no problem, then the second/subsequent publishes attempts usually stall unless I restart RW
I often have this problem, to me it is just one of the daily problems associated with using rapidweaver, but the benefits away this niggle
Just to confirm this behavior on my site as well … When it happens, I cannot find any error or specific situation with CPanel on the server, but the moment I close and reopen RW, I can publish again. It seems to have to do with how many FTP channels have been opened beforehand in a cumulative manner. Workaround is to close RW before a publication.
Is this something we are going to see a fix for soon? @dan
