# Automatic update crashes RW 7.1.7

Since I started using version 7 the automatic update process always crashes. I’ve had to manually download the newest version instead. Upon startup it informs me there is an update that I can download. Once downloaded I click the install and relaunch button, and poof, RW crashes (with no report either). Any suggestions? I’m using a macbook pro with OS 10.00.6. Thanks!
