# Background hover issue

I’m trying to use a hover transition to change the background image of a container element. I’m using two `.png` files (start and end images), both of which are the same size. The properties for the background are identical for both states. However, when I preview the hover effect, the end image appears shifted to the right and slightly stretched.

Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

This issue should be resolved in [today’s release, version 1.0!](https://forums.realmacsoftware.com/t/elements-1-0-23688/48669) Please give it a try and let us know if you run into any issues.
