# Backup just stops

For the past month my backup stops workin then nothing even leaving it for days. I’m using a M3 MacBook Pro Max which is extremely fast but just stops. I have done a complete backup previously with no problem. I just delegated a number of backups leaving 4 of them. Any ideas on how I can find out what is going on?

Hi @richjh,

Can you still upload your project file to the server when you use a separate FTP client?

If that fails too, you’ll know it’s your host. Perhaps they’ve limited the allowed maximum file size for some reason and you’ve exceeded it with your latest edit.

If the FTP client doesn’t fail, we can assume it’s something in RapidWeaver.
